Jackaroe 傑克羅／Joan Baez 瓊拜雅／1963
" Jackaroe "為流傳鄉野的民歌，祖籍不明。根據學者的採集紀錄，它應該是發源自英國，流傳至各地後歌名雜沓，前後計有" Jack Munro "、 " Jackie Monroe "、" Jack-A-Roe "、"Jackaroe "、" Jackaro "、" Jackie Frazier "、" Jack the Sailor "、" Jack Went A-Sailing "、" The Love of Polly and Jack Monroe "等不同歌名。
1917 年出版，由 Olive Dame Campbell 和 Cecil Sharp合著的《English Folk Songs From the Southern Appalachians》，記載說其中的" Jack Went A-Sailing "是常被引用的早期版本。1989 年出版，Dianne Dugaw 所寫的《Warrior Women and Popular Balladry, 1650-1850》則寫到 1934 年在美國密蘇里州採集到" Jack Monroe "，並註明這個版本在 1830 年代左右即流傳於波士頓一帶。
" Jackaroe "這首歌後來成為民謠搖滾歌手的必備曲目，錄音版本不少，幾位重量級人物均曾留下錄音，如巴布狄倫、瓊拜雅；The Grateful Dead 死之華合唱團則灌唱了" Jack-A-Roe "這個版本。
民謠歌后瓊拜雅經常演唱早期民歌，《Joan Baez In Concert》這二張一套的現場錄音是喜愛民謠的歌迷必備的名盤，" Jackaroe 傑克羅 "為其中亮點，老安當年就是為了這首" Jackaroe "而買了這張專輯。
